Innovative Business Voice Platform Available for $150 per Year For Startups
Berkeley, Calif. — December 2, 2013 — Telnexus LLC, an innovative provider of high-touch communications services to small and medium-sized enterprises, announced it would start reselling the 2600hz cloud telecom platform to small-to-midsized enterprises. To launch the new service, Telnexus now offers members of a Bay Area business association a Charter Subscription of $150 per user per year or $15 per user per month via the web site BerkeleyPhone.net.
“At Telnexus, we need a way to take the revenue that feeds the telecom monster and change that into solutions and services the customer can use. 2600hz helps Telnexus disrupt the telecom value chain by helping us to move subscription revenue to customer service,” said Vernon Keenan, CEO of Telnexus.
“Telnexus has been looking for a scalable telecom platform, and 2600hz is what we’ve been looking for. 2600hz’s Kazoo platform gives us more than the ability to host the traditional business telephony user, because Kazoo v3’s mobile and messaging features gives Telnexus and our customers the building blocks for next-generation messaging applications,” added Mr. Keenan.
“2600hz is excited to welcome Telnexus to the Kazoo family. As the leading provider of modern communications infrastructure we know that Telnexus will be able to offer strategic, value-based solutions, and have a lot of fun doing it. Vernon’s approach to the market is innovative and we’re looking forward to seeing where he takes our technology,” said Darren Schreiber, CEO of 2600hz.
Telnexus is a startup company and a member of the Berkeley Startup Cluster, which is collaboration between the City of Berkeley, University of California, Downtown Berkeley Association and the Berkeley Chamber of Commerce.
To celebrate becoming a Kazoo reseller, Telnexus is launching a special program tailored for startups and other smaller enterprises. For a limited time, Telnexus now offers a $150 per year subscription to the Telnexus Virtual PBX. The offer made available to new Telnexus customers that apply via the web site BerkeleyPhone.net.
The special price is limited to the first 100 qualified companies.
BerkeleyPhone.net qualified customers may purchase up to 10 Charter Subscriptions under the $150 pre-pay plan or a $15 month-to-month plan until January 31, 2014. Additional user licenses purchased later will be billed at a higher rate. Each user gets one phone number, a voicemail box, visual voicemail and virtually unlimited calling within the United States. Please see the Telnexus.com web site for all the terms and conditions for the Telnexus Virtual PBX service.
“The Telnexus Virtual PBX is progressive voice technology with no desk phone required,” said Pieter Hartsook, senior product marketing manager of Telnexus. “We know that startup folks don’t want the traditional phone system, and that’s why we think Kazoo will be great for people who already have a smartphone, tablet and computer. We are also excited about introducing to other startups the concept of using 2600hz Kazoo to deliver new communication services.”
Companies may apply for the Telnexus Virtual PBX special offer via the web site BerkeleyPhone.net starting immediately.
