Telnexus Supports Diversity in Tech

Vernon Keenan | January 7th, 2016

On January 28th, Telnexus will be participating in the Berkeley Startup Job Fair. Hosted by Localwise—a local job community—the City of Berkeley’s Office of Economic Development, and NextSpace, the event is focused on diversity at startups. The event also includes key community stakeholders such as the Kapor Center for Social Impact, Women Who Code, #YesWeCode, Lesbians Who Tech, Hack the Hood, and Telegraph Academy. Telnexus is proud to support such an important initiative. To sign up yourself, click here

The participation of Telnexus in the Berkeley Startup Job Fair is not just to seek new employees for its operations, but is also part of a broader effort to increase diversity in the tech and startup industries. The lack of diversity in the tech industry is alarming, despite the fact that there are no limits in technology expertise related to one’s ethnicity, religion or personal orientation.

The Berkeley Startup Job Fair is one of many important steps to address this problem. While many forums address the problem through discussion, the job fair hits the heart of the issue: jobs.

Telnexus works to support diversity in the tech startup community by participating in the Berkeley Startup Job Fair. We hope you’ll join us!
